I am new at this and the best I have done so far is 50% savings on the order. I was prety impressed with myself, having absolutely no clue what I was doing.

Walgreens is my favorite place to shop! I love the register rewards. I use the RR from the week before to buy the products with RR for the next week. I use lots of manufacturers coupons with my purchases as well. Yesterday I went to Walgreens and spent $12.36 on $61.44 worth of products. I got 6 boxes of Platex Gentle Guide tampons (36 ct.), 4 Elmers School Glue, 3 Penway notebooks, 3 Skintimate shave gels, 1 Aussie hair spray and 1 Suave Professionals hairspray.

3 boxes of Gain laundry detergent, 2 boxes of kotex pantilines, 2 tubes of Bengay, 2 shave gels, 2 pk of pens, 2 rolls of scotch tape. $7 and change out of pocket. only because after coupons i paid $1.98 for each gain detergent. it was my first shopping trip ever. It felt great i was completely hooked to couponing at that moment!

I think my best deal was at Walmart.I got 15 boxes of cereal , 2 lotions, several deodorants, hairspray, milk and lots of veggies all for 20.67. I felt like I was ripping Walmart off. The guy behind me only have a case of pop but he waited to see how much I saved, the cashier couldn’t believe it, she doubled checked everything to make sure it was correct.

Tuesday I found a major score at CVS/Pharmacy on their clearance end. I got tons of Banana Boat sunscreen, Hallmark gift bags, “generic” type Q-tips, Hot Wheels, Bonnie Bell Lip Smackers, Lifesaver Gummies and more…I spent a total of $12.86 and saved a total of $109.25! I felt awesome; like a total Coupon Saving Queen!! I had coupons that made the prices go to zero, or below!!!!!

vanessa · August 18, 2011 at 11:52 pm

I am new to this, but the last 2 trips I have taken to Kroger, I have saved nearly $60 each trip with less than $100 OOP. Another benefit was that I saved 20 cents a gallon on 2 tanks of gas.

Susan D'Alesandro Wilder · August 19, 2011 at 10:17 am

I saved $125.00 on my last shopping trip to BJ’s. I was thrilled!!

Michelle Cain · August 21, 2011 at 8:21 pm

I had a 74% savings at one point – but I think it was only a $50 shopping trip. My average is 35 – 50 %.

(Unless you count the times I went only for a few things that were free . . . and then it was 100% savings!)

brandi b · August 22, 2011 at 10:10 am

I am a newbie at this but I am so very happy at just seeing a Savings “area” on my receipt. Most recent Kroger shopping trip Total Purchase: $59.14 Total Savings: $36.25 after Kroger ecoupons and some manufacturer coupons. YAY ME 🙂
